Kalpa is the biggest and most beautiful hill village of Kinnaur district. Which is situated in the valley of river Sutlej. This village is situated at an altitude of about 2960 meters above sea level. Kalpa is surrounded by Deodar , apple , and pinus gerardiana chilghoza trees . Surrounded by the Himalayan hills on all sides, this village is very attractive.

Kalpa is situated at a distance of about 51 kilometers from the famous Sangla Valley of Kinnaur.
