Himachal Pradesh is a very beautiful tourist state. Every single district here has a very beautiful and attractive tourist destination. One of the most beautiful places in these is Baga Sarahan. Which is located in Nirmand block of Ani assembly constituency of Kullu district. Baga Sarahan is a historical and very beautiful tourist destination. It is said that the Pandavas resided at this place during their exile. There is a flat plain here and dense forest and highland Himalayan green meadows, Which is surrounded by beautiful hills from all sides. The dense deodar trees on the hill makes the beauty of this place even more attractive. Baga Sarahan giving a chance to capture the beautifulness of the surroundings. This flat plain is spread over 140 bighas. It is said that this ground was built by Bhima in a single night. It leave a unforgettable memory by seeing rich Himalayan Flora and Fauna.

Today this place is famous for tourism. There is a small waterfall after trekking at some distance of this plain. Which is very charming and calm. The water of this spring calms down in the middle of the ground and flows in the form of a snake. There is a big village on the left of this ground. This village is known as Sarahan village. There is a temple situated in the middle of this village which is dedicated to sage Shana. This temple has been built in the Pahari style. The figures carved on the wood in the temple are very beautiful. Every year a big fair is organized in this village on the sankranti of Vaishakh. There is also a famous rest house by the name of Lal Bungalow. Which was built during the time of the British. This beautiful village is situated at a distance of about 70 kms from Rampur. It is about 35 kms from Nirmand in Kullu.
